Established in 1985, Diane Miller Photography began out of a love for photography. Along the way, it has transcended past a business and into a family, with genuine care and commitment to everyone we photograph. We are blessed to have been touched by the happiest of times in our clients’ lives. In return, we are grateful to give the gift of portraiture to make those memories last a lifetime.

Diane has always had a passion for art and photography. As a young girl, she drew still life images and rarely went anywhere without her camera. In her late teens, she apprenticed with a gifted commercial photographer who encouraged her development within the field. She attended the Rhode Island School of Photography, then went on to earn her Masters Degree from Professional Photographers of America.
She has won numerous awards for portrait & wedding photography including the Fuji Masterpiece & Kodak Gallery Awards. Over the years, images have been published in National Loan Collection books with PPA & displayed at Disney’s EPCOT Center.
She is a member of Professional Photographers Association of Rhode Island, New England, & America, and is Past President of Professional Photographers Association of Rhode Island.
Outside her passion for her business, Diane enjoys free time with her family and friends. This year, Diane and her husband Neal will be celebrating 17 years of marriage. Their greatest accomplishment is their son, Preston, who is currently thriving as a student at Bishop Hendricken.

Behind Diane every step of the way, her mother Meredith, has always played an intricate role in the business managing the books, processing orders, and providing invaluable moral support.
A proud mother, grandmother, & great-grandmother, Meredith is always on the go… She enjoys bowling, traveling, gardening, and spending time in her log cabin in New Hampshire.
 Heather…
Heather became an assistant to Diane in 1999, after graduating from Sacred Heart University with a BS in Media Studies. Like any great assistant, she does a little bit of everything from marketing and production design to personal interaction with each client. Heather’s favorite aspect of the business is the people she has met along the way. “Every time I pick up the phone, it feels like I’m talking to an old friend.”
The biggest joy in Heather’s life comes from her family. In June 2006, Heather and her husband Jan became proud parents of a baby boy, Jack.
 Larissa…
Larissa plays the important role of manager as she keeps everything in order from appointments to client orders. With her upbeat and positive outlook, combined with her organizational skills, she is a genuine asset to the Diane Miller Photography family.
There is never a dull moment for Larissa outside the studio. She fulfills her need to stay busy by enjoying her passions in life for family, friends, food and travel. |
